Wells, a native of the Twin Cities has opened the doors of Excalibur
Motor Sports, located at 1001 South 6th Street, Hopkins,
MN, July 19, 2004. At the age of 48 Kyle has put
everything on the line to realize his dream.
One
thing the Twin Cities lack is an aftermarket repair and parts shop
that services Motorcycles (on and off road), ATV’s, and Snowmobiles
that other dealers no longer want to work on. In most
dealerships if the unit is over 10 years old they won’t work on it.
What happens to all of these older units? Now people will have
a place to bring them to have them repaired or serviced. There
is a parts counter, for the do-it-yourselfers and a full line of
accessory items to choose from.
Kyle
does bring to the table over 25 years of experience in working on
all varieties of units as well as 15 years of teaching other
technicians the skills. Finding himself unemployed and the
product of the modern “Lean and Mean” philosophy he wanted to follow
his dream and passion while still providing an income for his
family.
Nancy Wells, wife and co-owner has spent her life in sales.
Her greatest desire with this venture is to provide excellent
service, quick turnaround and quality work & supplies.
